My Weekend In Pictures (and words)

Alright people, I have a confession to make: EVERYDAY is actually a Weekend for me...so I figured I might as well include all the other days in this post:

Tuesday

Hooked up with The Kingpin right after a Production meeting deep inside Victoria Island.

Chilled having drinks and getting our brain cells dulled by Africa Magic. Then kicked his ass so hard at a game of soccer that it still hurts him till this moment!!

Helped him ease the pain out a little by teaching him some of my orgasmic legendary stretching/relaxation exercises!!

Then he took me to a certain Rooftop which has the most beautiful view of Lagos you can ever see!! *nothing but smiles*

I later introduced him to the Juicy Shawarma! He has become an official convert!!

I enjoyed listening to him as he opened up on certain sides of himself I know he'd have rather not spoken about...must have been the juicy shawarma *wink*

Got home in the early hours quite satisfied with what a lovely evening it had been.

Wednesday

Finally attended the mid-week Bible Study in Church after such a long time!! It was very nice and interactive as usual and I was glad I was there!

Later went for INDUSTRY NITE at Saipan where Jamix was launching his album.

Thursday

The flu came down hard on me!!

Worked all day on this piece: YES WE CAN: The Femi Olagbaiye Story

Got hungry as usual at 3am...made myself some microwave Indomie which tasted like processed ass!!

Tried to pimp it out a little by throwing in some carrots...now it tasted like grilled ass!!

Friday

Went to wrap up a business deal at BASE LOUNGE, Silverbird Galleria.

Then went for another Production Meeting at a coded Guest House in the heart of V.I, where I was introduced to this special homegrown cocktail...

Alomosera (Lol..you wouldn't even believe the combo if I told you..ok..Alomo Bitters & La Casera)

Nobz came through to the Guest House briefly to chat about a project we're working on...

Noble Igwe

He left soon saying he was going home to watch movies and sleep...

Then I hooked up with Tones at one of my secret places...where we literally just spaced out...

Isn't nature just beautiful?!

We laughed our heads-off when some middle-aged guy comes over to meet us holding some cans of beer and saying that 'his daddy' asked him to give them to us!! We accepted and waved thank-you at his 'Daddy'!!

He came back later to tell us that 'his Daddy' wanted our phone numbers!! We asked him to tell 'his Daddy'..who I'm not kidding, had to be nothing less than 70, that we don't roll that far!!

Me

I took Tones through a session of my legendary orgasmic stretching exercises...she was begging for more soon!!

Satisfied Me...happy to bring pleasure

Then we went to Marquee..and who is the first person I bump into..

Noble Igwe

Oh wow!! Movies and sleep my ass!!!

Saturday - STAND UP 2010 AGAINST GLOBAL POVERTY DAY

As you probably know by now, I'm exploring different Dance Classes here in Lagos. I tried Burlesque and now I've gravitated toward Zumba to see what's going on there!!

Went to Bailamos Dance Studio in Obalende first thing in the morning, for the Zumba Class co-ordinated by Bunmi Olunloyo!!

My mat was Pink!!

I had a BLAST!! Was so out of step with everyone and probably looked like a fool..but it was FUN and touching the right spots in my body!!

Have to find ways to get rid off all this energy *winks*

Bunmi is an EXCELLENT Instructor and a fantastic Dancer..I'm soooo going back there!! My body felt delicious after the Class!!

Went straight to Rehab Salon on Adeniran Ogunsanya Street in Surulere, from there!!

Meet Dada, my super-Diva Hairdresser!!

Dada

Dada is worried for me...he says I'm getting wilder and wilder by the day!!

Had Lunch at home...DAMN it tasted good!!

Later attended the GUEPARD Album Listening party at Marquee..their artistes are J2D & Le Soul

Toni Tones & Caroline Danjuma of GUEPARD

Me

Guest & Hilda (also of GUEPARD)

Tones

Guest Artistes who performed included FAZE, General Pype & KAS

KAS thrilling a Fan while performing

The Kingpin invited Tones & I for a drink...we soon left to go meet him..

Tones

Me

I had such a FAB time!! It was really nice having both The Kingpin and Tones around...he treated us real nice and we all had an AMAZING time!!

Then it was off to check out the new REGGAE/DANCE-HALL NITE at Saipan!! Reggae DJ's from France and Cotonou were in town and it was AWESOME!!

Tobi Okunade

Gosh...I danced like I haven't done in ages!!!! The music was SICK..they were brilliantly giving reggae mixes to contemporary songs we listen to everyday!!! Definitely gonna be there next time!!

I couln't get over how beautiful Tones was looking that day!!

We were joined by a mystery man...

Sunday

Began the day with some in-bed reading...

Then it was off to Southern Sun hotel for the Sunday Brunch...

Goat-meat/Ox-tail peppersoup..always a great place to start!!

Check out the breathtaking view of Lagos from Southern Sun...

Baffles me how a hotel as big as Southern Sun can have such a tiny pool...

Later went to drop my sister off at the Airport...

My beautiful sisters: Tonbofa Ashimi, Thelma Ekiyor & I

Decided to visit America for the evening myself..*smile*

Worked on this 'Weekend in Pictures' amidst screams and cheers from die-hard American Football fans as they watched football on TV!!
